The unofficial vacation post....

We made it home late friday night and I spent most of the weekend trying to recover from a very busy/itchy 9 days. After an afternoon in the ER Saturday I apparently have Puppps dont know what that is? Neither did I because apparently only about 1% of pregnant women get it, I was one of the unlucky ones. It started the day we left and spread to my entire body the ER doctor told me he thought I would have to bathe in hydrocortizone to make any impact so he pperscribed me some steriods (prednizone) and sent me on my way. I'll see the OB tommorow and see what he says but I can already see a noticeable difference and got an impressive 5 hours of uninteruped sleep last night. That has been the worst part I was determined not to let this impeed on our vacation but night time was tourture I didnt sleep for days. So besides that we have just been relaxing happy not to be living out of a suitcase. I promise I will post a nice long update with the ten tons of pictures I took but for now I'll leave you with this fammily shot from the wedding, because I have laundry and a weekend of "I dont feel like it" mess to deal with.

And as I am suremany of you are I'll ask you to lift baby Stellan in your prayers, I was really dissapointed when I checked MCK expecting to catch up on some fun pictures and great blogs, and instead got the news that he is yet again in the hospital, pray for him and the whole family that they are surrounded by the great ammount of love and strength they need for this.

Prayers for Stellan

Great news.....

I just got back from the Specialist OB and they could not find any trace of the Renal Cyst. She still just has the one kidney (and is functioning very well) which we expected but the cyst reabsorbing so quickly means no intervention at birth and no need for any surgery! She will see her regular pediatrician and he will probably want to have her checked out by a urologist at some point but there is no need for any urgency. We are so relieved and grateful for all of the prayers, and thanks be to God for answering our prayers!

This is a great way to start our vacation I am happy to be leaving town with peace of mind that everything is tip top with me and the baby. That said boy do I have alot of work to do, laundry, packing, cleaning oh my :D sorry to post yet again without any pictures but I promise I will have a boat load when we get back. The wedding is going to be beautiful and its going to be awesome to see all of the cousins and second cousins together for the first time. We are going to do all kinds of fun stuff while we are there, Mack is going to loose it when we see the sharks at the Newport aquarium, The Beach waterpark will be a great time and I am super excited about the antiques in Lebanon, Warren county is know for the shopping (if only I had a Uhaul ;) ) and maybe if Daddy is luck I will suffer through the football hall of fame. Anyway we are going to have alot of fun and some much needed family time, just wish me luck I may need a vacation from my vacation when this is all done.

Is there such a thing as word-full Wednesday?

I usually NEVER post without pictures but since I am coming to you live, feet propped up, watching my kids play/scream through a nice soundproof window at the heaven I know as Chick fil a, via Daddys laptop I dont have access to any pics. So today is my Word-ful Wednesday. This is now the fourth night in a row Daddy has worked late and we are sorely missing him. This is the time of year that unfailingly test my patience as a mother and our relationship, but what elses can youi expect for an AC guy in 100 degree plus weather. And truly I am so grateful the work is coming in and we are making the extra because I am sure like all of the rest of you things are tight, and all of this work is allowing us this nice vacation and new school supplies and clothes for Mack. I am just so gratefull to have such a hardworking wonderfull husband and although its hard not to focus on the negative side of him being so busy I cant help but praise God for the oppurtunities he allows us. Now I am going to eat my brownie and check the rest of the blogs, while I ignore those crazy children in the playground that I certainly dont know.

I'm like the Costco of blogging

Bulk is more my style, mostly because I dont remember to update until I am uploading pictures and I only do that about once every two weeks but bear with me guys, maybe I'll get better, maybe. Anyway we have had a great couple of weeks, never a dull moment at the Buehlers. We are getting amped up for our big Vacation, we leave on the 15th and should arrive in Dayton just in time for Jon and Tiffs rehersal dinner on the 16th. I am not so excited about the drive, but I cant wait to get there and see all of our family. We are staying at Justin and Kellys and we are really excited to get some good quality time with them and the kids, every time we get in the car Mack asks if we are going to Jack and Eva's yet. After we leave Dayton we are going to stop and visit Jasons Uncle Jerry, who was just here, in Charlottesville and stay for a day. We are really looking forward to getting out of dodge, doing something different and seeing all of our family.

In other late breaking news, like I mentioned Jasons Uncle Jerry was here recently and we got to show him around Jacksonville. I think he really liked it and we will be visiting him up in Va on our way back from the wedding. Mack and Logan really love him and the feeling is very mutual. We hadnt seen him since our trip to Tenn last and that was very short so it was great to see him.

And more recent progress on Mack and his water issues. We dont really know how or why but my once-water-bug-boy became petrified of water about 2 years ago and we have been trying to get him reacclimated ever since. Well maybe it was his obbsesion with Sharks and the movie sharkboy and lavagirl but he is becoming more and more comfortable in the water. He loves his goggles because they allow him to see (we have since gotten him blue ones just incase you wondered) and he has learned to hold his breath and fully submerge his head. These are just some bathtime shots I got but he is much better in his wading pool and the community pool. One of these days I'll remeber to bring my camera with us. But heres proof of my boy going under or "dibing" may not look like much but this is HUGE progress for him and I am very proud. Pay no mind to the nakedness.

We have also found a new hobby our boys have taken to quite fondly, Bowling. I dont know why, maybe because we were never big bowlers but we had never thought to take them. Last weekend we were invited to a bowling birthday party and we discovered Mack and Logan are naturals (with a little assistance of the bumpers) and we had our Ah Ha! moment. We now have our go to, rainy day/beat the heat activity. Theres something so funny about watching Logans little body catapult a huge heavy ball.

And Mack was a natural

Lastly I worked on a few crafty things this week. Nothing really advanced or anything. The boys both have name plaques I made when I was pregnant with Logan and I saw a really cute one on Kelly's Korner and made a little variation for Miss June. I also made her a bow holder and some bows with various flowers and buttons, I cant wait to see her in little pigtails and and headbands.

Ok now that I have spent half my morning Blogging (a few interuptions delayed me)I think I will make us an early lunch and head out to the pool, because its hot and muggy and we have nothing else to do.

Grab a drink and get comfy this is gonna be a doozey......

Ok I really have to get better about posting every day so we don t have super crazy long posts such as this one. We had a long eventfull week last week with lots of Drs appointments and ups and downs. Basically we found out June has one kidney and the place where her other kidney should hve formed has instead developed a renal cyst. My OB sent me to the high risk specialist and they determined that while its serious I dont need to take any action , which means no bed rest, or invitro surgery and we are SOOOOOO grateful for that. So we really just have to watch this thing and the Drs will asses it when she is born and make a plan. So thats that, not great news but were thankfull this isnt a brain, or heart issue and its not life threatening.

If you give a pregnant woman a paintbrush..... I swear I dont know if its nesting of just the foresight to see that once this baby is here I'll never get anything done except diaperchanging, but I have been a one woman paniting machine lately. First was a little table for Junes room, then her wall decor and last weekend I painted the boys room, with a little help I didnt take it ALL on by myself, and I found some wallies and lettering I mounted up on canvas for above their beds. One day Jason will walk in the door and turn around because he wont recognize our own house, but hey I need some kind of outlet for all of this excitment and anticipation and if my house gets a little spruced up in the process so be it.

Then on Saturday we had family over to celebrate the big guys birthday, we had cake, couusins, and craziness. Aunt Kit made a great Shark cake for our shark lover, and Nana got a big kick out of the kids being themselves (crazy). Look closely and you may catch a glimps of the elusive Cooper in the shots, and of course Kai just being scrumptious. The day ened with the boys snuggled up in theyr new sleeping bags watching Shark boy and Lava girl for the 9,457 time, I have nightmares of plughounds if anyone even knows what that means.Ignore Logans nose picking, its a frequent occurence.

Then we just ahd a nice chillout day on Sunday. Mack and Logan shared the pool with some crazy full grown man who thought he was perfectly suited for the kiddie pool. And I took some shots of the garden, you didnt think you would get away from here without a veggie update did you? This pretty little purple bloom means I'll be enjoying some eggplant parmesean soon, YUM!

And just because it makes me smile we'll end this session of longest post ever with a sono of baby June, look closely she is yawning, isnt my baby girl precious?

Thanks for checking out the latest of the Buehler escapades! Now I'm off to feed the tapeworm.

Whats new?

Oh not much just the very special birthday of my big four yearold boy, Mack! I cant beleive he is four already, we didnt do a whole lot today but we are having a small family get together on Saturday to celebrate. These are from last friday when we got out the slip in slide, they laid out a towel and told me they were "relaxing" silly guys.

And heres the latest of our little queenie, not great quality because I had to take a picture of the original but she's still the cutest in-utero baby I know ;)

Can I have a do over?

My sister in law Racheal and I went to Orlando this Sunday to check out Ikea and had a really fun time. I had never been and let me tell you I was a little overwhelmed but amazed. Those Sweedes really know a thing or two. While we were making the trip I decided to go ahead and get the babys furniture. Since Daddys "mancave" is now complete and we can put guests up there. Even though I didnt get home until 8:45 and it took my darling husband until midnight, we got Junes room all set up. So I know I'm a little late for Kelly's Friday but heres a redo. The crib breaks down into a toddler bed, the dresser will double as a changing table and I added my own little touch by linning the frosted drawer fronts with pink paper.

In other less cheerfull news we have had to find a new home for Lola. I know, I know, I was a wreck about this. There was an incident a few weeks ago when she snapped at Logan and drew blood, I cosidered it then but decided to overlook it mostly because it was Logans fault, but it had started happening on an almost daily basis along with some other aggresive behavior. Most of the cases she has reared or snapped at them has been their fault, either sneaking up on her while she is sleeping or stepping/standing/hitting her, they are just too rough for her and despite many many different dicipline techniques(for the boys) it didnt stop. I dont blame her for defending herself but obviously as a Mom I had to make the very difficult decision that maybe she and the kids would be better of without the other. We have had alot of tears and we are going to miss her dearly, but I am really glad that we found her a great home with a good friend of ours Ricardo, he is a contractor and dosnt work long hours, and he is a single father of an older boy who is there part time. He's always loved Lola and was thrilled when we asked him if he would like her. So although I am welling up as I type I know its for the best, and I am so thankfull for the awesome five years we had with her, she's a great dog and brought us so much joy and laughter, will miss you Lolabear.

Show Us Your Home

Its time for Kids rooms at Kelly's Korner Show Us Your Home Friday.

To Mack and Logans room, the great thing about them being so close in age is that they have shared a room since Logan was sleeping through the night. A friend of ours gave us the boat, I made the name plaques and the curtains from burlap (nice and cheap), and the bedding is from Target.

And for the little lady. The color dosn't show well in these pictures but its kind of an apple green close to the green in the valance. The first thing I did when I found out she was a girl was run out and buy the tule to make her tutu, the quilt on the bed is from her crib set from BRU, and I found the pink wall hanging at hobby lobby and mounted it on a larger peice of wood and added the hooks. We still need it to function as a guest room for a few more months but eventually we will order her furniture which is a cherry finish, I've had a lot of fun with her room and I should have remebered to get a shot of her closet that is already getting full!
